FeaturesMargin-safe pricing
Set your numbers once. The price holds when you're not there.
Loaded labor rate, production rates, material math and target margin — configured with you at setup, then applied to every quote the same way, on a Tuesday in July and on a slow Thursday in February.

- 01
Rate card
Loaded labor, material and overhead entered once as your own numbers.
- 02
Formula
Every job type carries its own math instead of one blended guess.
- 03
Margin floor
A price that would land under target is blocked, not quietly accepted.
- 04
Propagation
A rate change applies to every new quote the moment you save it.
What you get
Loaded labor rate
Wage plus taxes, insurance, workers' comp and non-billable time, so the hour you quote is the hour you actually pay for.
Production rates
Square feet per hour for walls, ceilings, trim and doors, tuned to how fast your crew really works.
Per-job-type formulas
Interior, exterior and cabinet work each price on their own logic, with their own prep and height factors.
Automatic coat and material math
Gallons, primer, coverage loss and sundries calculated from the scope instead of guessed at.
Target margin, enforced
A quote floor the site will not price below. You can go under it deliberately — you just cannot do it by accident.
Change your rate, change every quote
Raise labor in March and every quote written after lunch reflects it, including the ones written at midnight.
The long version+
Almost every painting shop we talk to prices from memory. A number that worked on a similar job two years ago, adjusted by mood, by how the week is going, and by how much the homeowner winced. That is not a pricing strategy; it is a slow leak. Two identical repaints quoted three weeks apart can differ by fifteen percent, and the cheap one is almost always the one you remember for the wrong reasons.
Margin-safe pricing turns your judgment into arithmetic once, and then applies it forever. We start from your actual costs: what a painter really costs you per hour with taxes, insurance and windshield time loaded in; how many square feet of wall your crew genuinely covers per hour on a two-coat repaint; what your paint really costs after the contractor discount. Then we add the margin you need to still be here in five years.
From then on, the math is not up for negotiation at 8pm. Coats multiply. Ceilings and trim carry their own production rates. Cabinets price per door and drawer, not per square foot. Exteriors carry height and prep factors. When you raise your rate, every future quote moves the same day — including the ones your website writes while you sleep.

Questions
Margin-safe pricing, answered plainly.
What painters actually ask on the first call.
I already know my numbers. Why configure this?+
Because your website does not know them. The point is not to teach you pricing — it is to make the version of you that answers at 11pm price exactly like the version that shows up in person. Setup takes about an hour and we do it with you.
Can I still override a price?+
Always. You can adjust any quote before it goes out and price any job you want at any number. What changes is that going below your floor is a decision you make, visible on the job card, instead of something that happens by drift.
What if my production rates are wrong?+
They probably are, slightly, at first. Every closed job records estimated hours against the number you actually used, so after a dozen jobs you are tuning against your own data rather than a guess.
