SMS Terms

What texts PainterOS sends, how often, what they cost you, and exactly how to stop them.

Last updated August 31, 2026

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. Reply HELP for help. Consent to texts is never a condition of buying anything.

1. The two programs

Setup conversationIf you submit the setup form, we call and text the mobile number you gave us about getting your account running. This is the program the form's consent covers.
Account notificationsIf you open an account, we text you about your own jobs: new leads, bookings, payments received. These are transactional and tied to your use of the product.

Texts you send to your customers through PainterOS are your messages, sent under your consent and your brand. You are responsible for having permission to text them and for honoring their opt-outs; the product records and enforces STOP on your behalf.

The disclosure shown next to the submit button reads, verbatim:

By continuing you agree to the PainterOS Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and you agree that PainterOS may call and send recurring text messages to the mobile number you provided about setting up your account, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

We store that text, a timestamp, your IP address and your browser user agent with your submission, so both of us can see exactly what was agreed and when.

3. Frequency and cost

  • Message frequency varies with your activity; the setup sequence is a small number of messages and stops on its own once you reply or book.
  • Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for messages; your carrier may.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Supported carriers may change without notice.

4. How to stop

  • Reply STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message. We send one confirmation and then stop.
  • Reply HELP for contact information.
  • Or ask us to remove the number through any contact channel published on this site.
  • Opting out of marketing texts does not close your account; essential account notices may still be sent where the law allows.

5. Privacy

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or messaging consent with anyone for their own marketing. Numbers are shared only with the messaging providers that deliver the message on our behalf. See the Privacy Policy for retention periods and your deletion rights.

6. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that expands what we send you, we will ask for consent again rather than rely on the old disclosure.
